Celebrate

Hi there, here's a framed piece I did using Stampin' Up!'s felt flurries. I absolutely love this. I did the letters with my Silhouette. They kind of reminded me of snowflakes with all the extra cute things on them. These are available on our Esty site. Give us a visit at http://makinmecrazy.esty.com/. Thanks for stopping by, and happy stampin'.

Mr Twigster

This is a 12x12 layout we did at club. They made the Title page and I did page two to show an option for when they go on at home. They better be scrappin' at home .LOL! I chose Mr. Twigster, he's so darn cute... The DS paper is Ski Slope from the holiday mini from SU. We then watercolored the images to make them beautiful.
If you'd like to join us to scrap, just contact me for further information.

Halloween

This is a card and bag topper I made for a workshop I recently had, and my upcoming club members. All supplies are SU. The bag topper was made with the Big Shot and an exclusive die from SU. I wrapped minature candy bars with DS papers. The other two treat holders are a couple of things I made while playing around with the new Halloween DS paper from SU. I also used the Big Shot to make the one on the right. Aren't they cute? My monthly club starts Sunday night. Time to get back in the swing of things. I'm starting a scrapping club this year also. I'll post the page their making in a day or so. If you'd like to join, I accepting new members this year. There's room in both clubs for new members. I'd love to have you!

Catching Up!

Oh my word, I've been gone a long time! Let's play catch up. First I'll share what Jennifer and Shellie made before our Monday night gatherings finished. This is a project Shellie made for her daughter. She took silly pictures of her and a girlfriend, then put together this fabulous wall hanging. She started it while on a week end trip we took to a scrapbook expo in Ill. I'm sure she'll treasure this special work of art for many years to come. What a great way to preserve fun times spent together.
Next up is Jennifer's last project of the summer. She made these precious framed pieces for her daughter's room. She redecorated the entire room, and this made a great addition. What a lucky girl! We had so much fun getting together this summer, I think I'll be scheduleing Monday nights again next year. It'll be here before we know it. Thanks for sharing your projects with everyone.

At it again

My friend Jennifer has been at it again. She made this project for her home. She used both current and baby pictures of her children to make this beautiful art work. It's going to make a wonderful addition to her wall! SU supplies were used for this project.

Birthday Party

Today I'm sharing a birthday invitation I made for my granddaughter Kylie's ninth birthday party. The adorable little bags, known as "box in a bag" are for party favors. I added a flower to the top of a candy stick. All supplies are SU.
ps, the first photo is an altered frame I bought from a clearance rack. It has picture holders inside and flips over to view. Thanks for stopping by, leave a comment...

All In The Family

Hi all, I just had to throw my grandson in, because I'm always saying we're at the games, so I thought it was only fair to share the little cutie pie with everyone.
Anyway, I'm also sharing this framed piece of art with you that my friend Jennifer made this summer while coming over on Monday nights to my house for stampin/craft time. It's using the All in the Family stamp set from SU. We've had so much fun putting these together. We both have made them as gifts for other people and thought it time for ourselves. I still haven't gotten mine finished, but I have at least started. It has really been great to have that set time to work on projects. I've gotten more things done that way. I have close ups of the detail areas for you get a better look. She even included the families dog in the project. Leave her some comments and let her know what you think of it. Thanks so much for checking in today.

Sock Monkey

Oh my goodness, I've been playing with a couple of new sneak peak stamps sets from Stampin' Up! and I love sock monkey. It is so stinkin cute.
All materials used are SU. I have more I'll post later. I've been super busy making samples, getting my VC roomie box sent out, baseball, trying to plan a retirement, sneak peak party. The hardest part was picking a date for it. Where does the time go? Hope you enjoy the pics, and thanks for stopping by.

Thank you for kind comment!

More swaps

Here are the rest of my swaps that I signed up for.

The card is made with bashful blue card stock, certainly celery, and whisper white. (all SU) The technique is ribbon weaving. Again I used bashful blue and certainly celery. This is a very time consuming process to make. I don't think it's one I'd do very often. I stamped the image for A Little Birdie (SU) stamp set in stazon on designer series paper and also on the whisper white inside the card. You then cut out the bird and adhere over the other image. I did a little watercoloring and that's it. I did a gate fold 41/2 x 11. Scored @ 2, 33/4, 71/4, & 9 in.

The mini note books I made using left over pieces of designer series papers. If you need any more info you can email me. bartak1422@comcast.net. Let me know what you think, I'd love to here you. Comments are welcomed!

Love Note and holder

This cute little number is a quick and easy project. It's a small box like holder for love notes and envelopes. It's made from a 12x12 sheet of card stock. Using half to make 4 note cards, the other half makes the holder. If you'd directions let me know. I used this for a club project.
I'd like to thank Wanda McGlamary for sharing this with everyone.

Present

I wanted to share this gift I made for my oldest daughter for her birthday. I got the idea from one of my customers, Jennifer. Thanks, Jen. Using an 11x14 frame, I made each little section it's own little work of art. I also made my other daughter one for her b day, but forgot to take a picture.
I hate it when I do that. Let me what you think...

Swaps

These are two of the swaps I'm sending out for V/C Rocks.

The one on the right is a Chip Board Frame. I made useing 2 coasters. I cut the scallop by hand and used the large square SU punch for the center. The DSP is Flowers for You by SU. I love that set!

The other is a Gift Card Holder. The base 51/2 x 41/4, certainly celery, then tempting turquoise.

I then folded a medium white envelope in half. Cut off the flap on the right side and seal the other side. I then added the certainly celery 1/4" grosgrain ribbon around the envelope to tie it closed. I stamped with Life is Beautiful, added alittle ultra fine glitter and there you have it. It's a super easy way to make a gift card holder. What do ya think?

I really need to work on my photo taking...
Bear with me, I hope to get better at this.
