More swaps

Here are the rest of my swaps that I signed up for.

The card is made with bashful blue card stock, certainly celery, and whisper white. (all SU) The technique is ribbon weaving. Again I used bashful blue and certainly celery. This is a very time consuming process to make. I don't think it's one I'd do very often. I stamped the image for A Little Birdie (SU) stamp set in stazon on designer series paper and also on the whisper white inside the card. You then cut out the bird and adhere over the other image. I did a little watercoloring and that's it. I did a gate fold 41/2 x 11. Scored @ 2, 33/4, 71/4, & 9 in.

The mini note books I made using left over pieces of designer series papers. If you need any more info you can email me. bartak1422@comcast.net. Let me know what you think, I'd love to here you. Comments are welcomed!

Love Note and holder

This cute little number is a quick and easy project. It's a small box like holder for love notes and envelopes. It's made from a 12x12 sheet of card stock. Using half to make 4 note cards, the other half makes the holder. If you'd directions let me know. I used this for a club project.
I'd like to thank Wanda McGlamary for sharing this with everyone.

Present

I wanted to share this gift I made for my oldest daughter for her birthday. I got the idea from one of my customers, Jennifer. Thanks, Jen. Using an 11x14 frame, I made each little section it's own little work of art. I also made my other daughter one for her b day, but forgot to take a picture.
I hate it when I do that. Let me what you think...

Swaps

These are two of the swaps I'm sending out for V/C Rocks.

The one on the right is a Chip Board Frame. I made useing 2 coasters. I cut the scallop by hand and used the large square SU punch for the center. The DSP is Flowers for You by SU. I love that set!

The other is a Gift Card Holder. The base 51/2 x 41/4, certainly celery, then tempting turquoise.

I then folded a medium white envelope in half. Cut off the flap on the right side and seal the other side. I then added the certainly celery 1/4" grosgrain ribbon around the envelope to tie it closed. I stamped with Life is Beautiful, added alittle ultra fine glitter and there you have it. It's a super easy way to make a gift card holder. What do ya think?

I really need to work on my photo taking...
Bear with me, I hope to get better at this.
